Winter holiday!

Elias and Merete came on a Thursday. After school, we went to Mbweni ruins to eat.

 The day after, my class were performing a French song, and they came to watch us. After that it was a volley ball match, the students against the teachers.

Later that day, the girls (Mum, Merete and me) went on a Swahili fashion show! It was a lot of models from different designers,

The day after was a Stone Town day. We were walking around in Stone Town, looking in shops and eating.

After some hours with shopping, we went to something called Sauti za busara. It is a festival in Zanizbar that is only for one weekend once a year. So we went there to listen to some music.

There we met some of my friends, so Elias and I went with them.

The day after was also a shopping day. Merete bought a lot of stuff! This is only a little bit:

The next day we went to Nungwi! On the way we went to a cave. It was a bit scary, but fun!

We also went to a beach near by and took some pictures:

On Nungwi we were just relaxing. We were swimming, reading and listening to music.

One day, we were going to see some turles that were going to be released in the sea. We were a bit late or early (we don't know), but this is what we saw:

Later, Elias and I went parasailing. It was very fun, but a little bit scary.

The last day in Nunwi, we went snorkeling.

Yesterday Elias and Merete left.

A lot of visitors!

The first one who came was Anne Sophie; she is one of my mum’s friend’s sister. I was on school the first days, so I don’t have anything to say about that. She came on a Wednesday. The Friday after, 2 of my mum’s friends came.

So then we were 6. We went snorkeling and a trip to Stone Town. They stayed to the next Wednesday, and then they went alone to Nungwi.

On the same Wednesday, my dad’s brother came with his wife to stay for a day. We went sailing in a dhow to see the sunset. They left after the dinner and went to a hotel near Paje.

On the Thursday after, another of my dad’s brothers came with his wife, son and daughter. We went to eat dinner at Ocean View.

On Friday we all went to the hotel where my other uncle stayed and we stayed there for one night. It was a very nice hotel, with a very good breakfast!

On Saturday evening, we went to a house at Jambiani and we relaxed there and went on a small trip in a cool boat! On Sunday evening, we went to one of my friend’s hotel in Jambiani, and I slept there to Monday and drove with her to school. On the Monday after school we went to town and ate there. And on Tuesday we went to swim at Mbweni Ruins.
