No sharks in Zanzibar?

 Always when I swim in the ocean in another country than Norway, I'm afraid of sea urchins, sharks and other animals in the sea. When we came to Zanzibar, we were told that there are no sharks here, and if there is, it is outside the rief, but that is rare. Still I'm afraid. So every time I swim, my mum or dad tells me that there is no sharks here, for sure! So I have been swimming a lot, even though I'm afraid. So this weekend, I went to a friend's house, and I was shocked. We saw a shark, and it was catched by the coast in Jambiani (probably outside the rief)! I have heard from a friend that she saw some sharks when she was diving, but they were small and not dangerous. This one was about 2 metres long! The teeth were not there for some reason, maybe they took them away or something, but I think the shark was dangerous. It was called a bullshark.

Hotel weekend!

On this post you will se a shark!!!

Last weekend I stayed at my friend (Selma)'s place. Her mother runs a hotel in Jambiani, so I stayed there 

from friday to monday. It was very fun!

The first thing we did was homework!

She has a very cool name!

On friday we were just doing homework, and relaxing.

On saturday, we went with one of the people that works on the hotel (a friend of Selma), and we went out to eat lunch. There we met another girl that works on the hotel.

I was kind of suprised when we got to the restaurant, because that was the restaurant that we (my family) have been on many times!

When we got back, the chef at the restaurant at the hotel told us to come and look at a shark! He told us that it was about 2 meter long, and I was scared! We were told it was a bullshark (I don't know what that it, but i sounds scary).

Later that day, we decided to paint our nails. They have a spa at the hotel, so we went there but we did it ourself. 

I thought it was very hard to choose colour, but i knew that i didn't want a too bright colour, this is what it became :)

Sunday was a very relaxing day. We watched a movie and read! It is this very cool app that has a lot of books. But it is normal people that writes them, so you have to wait for them to update the story. Some of them are very good autors!

So that was my weekend!
