Zanzibar - Norway

On the last day at Zanzibar, I went to school as normal. There, they had made a "goodbye party" for me. They had brought cakes, bisquits, coke, juice and other things, it was very nice. When the day was over, I quickly gave everybody a hug, before we left to the airport.
We took a very small plane to Dar, where we stayed at a hotel for around 7 hours. In the middle of the night, we went to the airport and went to Istanbul. And from there to Norway.
Now I am safe in Norway.

This year has been amazing. I have tried something new and it has been a great experience. I've got some great friends and learned a lot at school. I will miss Zanzibar!

Since my year is over, this is the end of my blog!

Fun weekend in Matemwe!

We have heard that Mnemba Island is the best place to dive on Zanzibar, so we had to try before we leave. My friend, Shannon, has a hotel which is close to that Island, so my dad, mum and me went there to dive. Shannon and another friend, Camilla, also came with us.

We were diving, while my mum was snorkelling.

When we got back to the hotel, we ate and took some really cool pictures in the pool, this is the best one!
Camilla and me, Shannon is the really good photographer!

Camilla and I stayed at Shannon's house for the night. The next morning Camilla left, and Shannon and I took some pictures in the pool:

Later, we went running!

So that was how my last weekend in Zanzibar was!

We are leaving, friday 21st June.

Swimming gala

Today, at school, we had a swimming gala. There were teams from all over Zanzibar who competed against each other. We were in a team called Stone Town. Some from the school, and some from Stone Town.

I only swam once, 50 meter freestyle, because we didn't have time to do more.
This is when we swam:

Nakiyah is in the closest line, then me, then Camilla and at the end is Shannon.

Shannon - 1st
Camilla - 2nd
Me - 3rd
Nakiyah - 4th

Training camp on luxury resort!

Sea Cliff is a very big, luxury resort. It has a 85 meters long swimming pool and so many other activities. We tried almost all. It is very hard not try to when they have so many things you have wanted to try or just like. So it was more like a training camp than a vacation.

They had a tennis court,

a swimming pool,

table tennis,

a squash court,

a gym,

windsurfing,

a hobie cat,

snooker tables,

a football game,

very nice rooms,

and very nice food!

That's what we did this holiday!
